Raising the "Woof" to help orphaned pets

The City of Upland, Helping Out Pets Everyday, The Grove Theatre, and PetSmart are joining forces to create a fun-filled and exciting way for pets and their owners to help orphaned pets in the community.
On February 7th, PetSmart, located at 1935 North Campus Ave. in Upland, will host dog auditions for the next "Star" to have their picture adorned on the promotional poster at the Grove Theater for the running of the smash it musical "BARK".

The winner will also receive 4 tickets to a special presentation of "BARK" on Thursday, February 19th at the Grove Theater and be presented with the promotional poster after the show has concluded.

Twenty second-place winners will have their dog's picture prominently displayed at The Grove Theater throughout the running of "BARK".

Well, wouldn't you know it...Tucker is one of the top Twenty-Second place winners!! lol Over 400 dogs entered.

Grandma Paula told us about the contest and we all went together to experience the fun. Tucker was very excited and wanted to play with ALL the other dogs. But as soon as it was his turn to get in front of the camera all that excited energy was gone.
I think Tucker enjoys taking pictures..I've been taking pictures of him since he was a pup. I taught him the "Watch me" command which I think really helped in this contest.

We won 2 tickets to see the Special Presentation of "BARK!" on Thursday night at The Grove in Upland. We are so excited to see the picture "prominently displayed"! :)
