I am not a homemaker because I had too little ambition or education to make anything else of myself. No—I am a homemaker because God has given me the infinite honor of being a wife, and I delight in employing every ability that He has equipped me with in this glad career. I love being home. I love making dinner and tending to our daily needs and caring for our beautiful baby girl and a dog who thinks he is human. But most of all, I love the happy look that I see on my husband’s tired face when he comes in at the end of a shift. And I cherish the fulfillment that the Lord gives me in all of these things. Indeed, “my borders enclose a pleasant land”. (Psalm 16:6)
“But let the older women teach the younger women to…love their husbands…to be keepers at home…” (Titus 2:4,5).
"We delight in serving our husbands a cold glass of tea; not because he demands it or because we are subservient, but because we love him and cherish the smallest opportunity to communicate it. After all, he spends all day “speaking love to us” by working hard, making sure the oil is changed, unstopping the clogged pipes, and all sorts of other ways. We don’t feel we’re in competition, but rather, we are “heirs together in the grace of life.”

Time to update this "About Me" page. You speak of TWO dogs, and no mention of a baby. Remember...you traded Charlie in for an Emmy. Good trade, if you ask me, but...pooooor Charlie.... *sigh*
