Growth and development
- Still fits into some 3 month clothes.She wears 3-6 month clothes and 6-9 month clothing.
- Wears size 1 diapers and size Medium in cloth diapers
Appetite
- Breastfeeds about every 2-3 hours but recently she has been eating every 1.5 hours (growth spurt I think) :)
Motor skills
- Loves to grab toys that are hanging.
- She can grasp toys and she loves her Bendy Ball
- Puts everything she can grab into her mouth...it's pretty cute!
- She holds her head up (she has been doing that since day 1) and sits up with assistance. She loves to sit up!!
- She loves to stare at her fingers and toes.
- She sucks her hands like crazy and drools!
Sleep
- Sleeps 10 hours at night!! She is a fantastic night sleeper!! LOVE IT!
- She takes about 4 naps a day. We don't have a "schedule"...our schedule is pretty much baby-led at this point. When she is sleepy, she sleeps. Sometimes she sleeps for 45mins and sometimes 1.5hours. We struggle a little with naps right now because I think she is going through a growth spurt. I try not to let her get overtired but sometimes she just fights the nap..lol. It's actually kinda cute to listen to her right before she falls asleep...she talks up a storm.
- She loves to be rocked to sleep and I am okay with that. Although she has probably become dependent on it, I don't mind because it won't be forever that I get to rock my baby in my arms. :)
Other
- Loves to be held.
- Loves to be carried by daddy and rocked to sleep by me.
- Enjoys her bouncer
- Loves to sit up
- Loves bath time!
- Enjoys laying on the changing table!!
- Loves getting baby massages from mommy and daddy
- She talks, talks, talks...she loves to hear her voice and makes all sorts of noises.
- Loves smiling and giggling and chuckling!
- Sucks on her two middle fingers to self soothe whenever she pleases.
Ok. She is the cutest baby I've seen in a long while. All babies are cute, but she is over the top cute. Truly have a special girl there.
