2months old!!! (yesterday) :)

Emily is 2months old!  People say that this stage goes by so fast...but it feels so slow!! lol

Emily loves going for walks in her stroller and her carriers (Ergo & Moby Wrap).  If we use one of  the carriers she will almost always fall asleep.  If we stroll her in the stroller she will stay awake and stare at everything.  Her favorite visual is the trees.  She loves to look at the shadows and branches of the trees.

Emily loves to talk.  She loves to hear her voice and she mimics our noises and sounds! It's really cute to hear.

Emily giggled for the first time yesterday.  It was the cutest, sweetest and most lovely sound I've ever heard!!  Josh can't wait to make her giggle when he comes home from work!
And she slept 7 1/2 hours last night for the first time!! What a great way to celebrate her 2month old little body! :)

Growth and development

• Wears 3 month, and 3-6 month clothes
• Wears size 1 diapers and moving up to Medium size in some cloth diapers

Appetite

• Breastfeeds on demand (about every 2hours...unless she is sleeping)

Motor skills

• Is starting to bat at toys that are hanging.
• She can successfully suck her fingers!
• She holds her head up for longer periods of time
• She catches glimpses of her arm as it passes her face and she stares at it for a few minutes. so cute!

 Sleep

• Sleeps 5-6hours at night wakes up to feed and then sleeps 3more hours :)
• Naps all the time. Sometimes for 2hours, sometimes for 45mins

Other

• Loves to be held.
• Enjoys her bouncer
• Enjoy tummy time on her mat
• Loves bath time
• Enjoys laying on the changing table!!
• Loves getting baby massages from mommy and daddy
• Loves talking and laughing!
• Loves smiling
• Sucks on her two middle fingers to self soothe whenever she pleases.
